The story was very limp and the dialogue was undignified
The incident with Valya Harkonnen using the voice is from one called “Mentats of Dune.” The three books weave together the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. I don’t want to be critical of just the first episode of a TV show, but this was average on every level, Olivia Williams and maybe Travis Fimmel. The rest of the cast felt like they just came out of the film academy or something.
I heard a lot of music here that had no effect
I love slow-burning dramas that take forever to build because I know the payoff is worth the wait. But this wasn’t just slow, there was a lot going on, it was just plain boring, I don’t know how else to put it. The soundtrack that meandered through the movies was ripped out a bit here, some familiar sounds pop up here and there, but the timing just wasn’t good.
My question is, did he even like that this was done?
I remembered how much time in the movies we’d spend with just people talking and then boom, Hans Zimmer does his magic and I’d get all excited. But I know he wasn’t involved in any sound here and I don’t even have to check. Would an average TV show like this after two epic movies have any effect on the long-awaited third movie?

The reason I’m wondering is because The Penguin was so good that it made me appreciate The Batman even more than I did after watching it and I can’t wait for the second movie. So how would Dune: Prophecy impact the third movie, if there will be one?
