It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Badingham as they have a long-standing rivalry that comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. A very easy binge-watch, extremely entertaining. Great characters, storylines, drama and 80s music to sing along to. David Tennant once again plays a fantastic antagonist. Aidan Turner is amazing as always. The cast clearly had a blast filming this and it shows in the series. So many talented actors and actresses in one programme. The series starts off comically and gets more dramatic as the episodes progress. The series stays true to the book and the 80s nature. The characters are likable and easy to relate to. I finished every episode wanting to watch until the end. Here’s hoping for a season 2!
