Dexter Morgan: I’ve lived in the dark for a long time
fills in for his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably alike. Dexter has a large scar on his left side that is visible throughout the first season. Later in the second season, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving the left side unmarked. Over the years my eyes adjusted until the darkness became my world and I could see.

Dexter is easily one of my favorite TV shows of all time and one of the few shows that I can watch cover to cover multiple times without getting bored. It’s hard for me to put into words how much I love this show. The only thing that is not good is the ending.
Hall’s performance as Dexter
The ending was pretty bad, but that doesn’t take away from how good the show is overall. You should watch this show just for Michael C. He is amazing in this. If you haven’t seen this amazing show yet, make sure you give yourself plenty of time because you’ll want to watch it as quickly as possible.
