Really great idea for a movie
Pretty flawless. All the performances drew me in and added a lot to the story. The concept was phenomenal and very interesting. The cinematography was unique and very good. The result also increased the tension quite a bit. In the first 2 thirds of the movie, all these things were done up to TS.
Notes: Barrel shots are sufficient
Why 6 stars? THE END. The believable and suspenseful aspects of the story were taken and thrown out the window to allow director Cronenberg’s imagination and desire to make the most of the special effects budget. It felt like a complete mess, almost like they had no idea what to do with the ending or desire to make it interesting. A movie that had so much going for it and I left the theater disappointed. We get what you’re trying to do, that’s enough.
It’s lazy to add hard sounds to almost every scene
